Passion for Serving
I am passionate about seeing the youth and young adults of this generation find their God-given purpose, to begin serving in that capacity making an impact in their world. Serving in the Kingdom of God, ensuring it is propelled forward and obeying the Great Commission. It is a call for every demographic, that I believe this generation is ready to answer.
Background
In the fall of 1998, my father, along with our family, began the work of planting churches on the west coast of Hawaii Island, working to establish an Apostolic presence there. Through the years, we travelled all around the island serving wherever the opportunity presented itself. My family and I have served in almost every department a local church offers to serve its constituency and community. I served on the worship team of our local church the entire time, and continue to do so. I served as youth pastor in my late teens and early 20's. Around 2015, I began the process of getting credentialed with the United Pentecostal Church International, and did so in the summer of 2017. I have been honored to serve our district and Hawaii Youth Ministries as sectional representative, as well as Youth President since 2019.
We were installed as lead pastors of our church, First Church Hawaii, Kailua-Kona, in August of 2021.
Partnering with my wife, Chelsey, and our four children, Mattea, Keliah, Zakai, and Atalia, endeavour to serve Kailua-Kona with excellence and faith to exemplify a life that pleases the Lord.
