Whether preaching from the pulpit, organizing outreach through Home Missions and the District Prayer Ministry, or providing peace of mind through his security company, he views every act of service as an opportunity to demonstrate Christ’s love in tangible ways. 

Background

Kerry Wasson has been a pillar of Hawaii’s Apostolic Christian community for over three decades. As the founding and senior pastor of Abundant Life Church—established in 1993 alongside his wife, Judie—he has spearheaded ministries across the islands, including Home Missions, Ladies’ Ministries, and the District Prayer Ministry. Since 2008, Kerry has also served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Hawaii District of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). Outside of his pastoral work, he is the owner of Superior Security Systems, delivering comprehensive security solutions throughout Hawaii. Kerry and Judie have been married for more than 38 years and are proud parents of three adult children, whose lives reflect their deep commitment to both ministry and community service.
